We are available to assist policy makers and the media to become better informed about mediation and its benefits.

Important information; Membership update

On 1st April we had hoped to merge the Map of Mediation with the Scottish Mediation Register and receive the combined renewals online.  Our previously reliable web designers have been unable to deliver on time for several reasons including serious illness.  This is very disappointing especially as an encouraging number of SMN members and registered mediators have contacted us wanting to renew. As well as those who have enquired about joining for the first time.

We are very sorry about not having the new system running as planned.  We are, however, very pleased with the new and significantly improved benefits package, that are available to those waiting to renew. Thank you for bearing with us while these technical problems are sorted out.

If you are looking to renew SMN membership or as a Scottish Mediation Registered Mediator;

The good news is that rather than you having to fill in an online form this year, we will send you a partially completed renewal form, using the data we currently have on our system, for you to check out and return to us with the appropriate subscription fee.  These forms will be sent out to each of you individually and we will be on hand to guide all our members and registered mediators through the renewal process.

If you are looking to join the Scottish Mediation Network or the Scottish Mediation Register for the first time;

Thank you for your interest in wanting to become a member of the Scottish Mediation Network or becoming a Scottish Mediation Register Mediator. If you are looking to join or would like more information please email: david@scottishmediation.org.uk

Our commitment is to ensure that the new Map and Register is up and running as quickly as possible so that users of the site can find mediators quickly and easily.  We are also very keen to get as many mediation services on to the Register as possible.

Again, sorry - thanks for your patience and for your support of the work of the Scottish Mediation Network.
