A 20-year career in commercial and contractual management, encompassing a range of diverse organisations from multinational oil companies to community-owned Land Trusts.

I’m genuinely interested in helping organisations and individuals find workable solutions to issues, in the most efficient and financially responsible way.  I have an aversion to waste – be it time, money or effort and believe that Mediation is a valuable and beneficial tool which can be used responsibility to resolve civil and commercial disputes.

Based in Scotland but able to travel as required.

April 2015 to Present – offering support and guidance to organisations in areas such as business improvement; strategy development; change management; process construction; organisational transformation
This included supporting one of Scotland’s oldest Community Land Trust as it prepared to deliver a significant capital investment project, reposition itself to meet future opportunities and challenges

Providing Tendering, Contract Management and Negotiation services to operators and service companies within the Oil and Gas Industry
March 2010 to March 2015 – Senior Consultant at 41NS Ltd
Dec 2008 to March 2010 – Strategic Sourcing Category Lead at ConocoPhillips
April 2000 to Nov 2008 – Supply Chain Management at BP
May 1995 to April 2000 – Contracts Engineer at Coflexip Stena Offshore Ltd

Qualifications & Experience
– London School of Mediation Accredited Mediator (Civil and Commercial and Workplace and Employment)
– Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators
– Civil Mediation Council Registered Mediator
– Scottish Mediation Network Registered Practitioner
– BSc in Quantity Surveying (Distinction) from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen
