Cultural Intelligence (CI): Developing your cultural competence as a mediator

This Online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) 4-hour online course will introduce participants to the impact of culture on mediation. It will explore how a good understanding of cultural factors can assist mediators in facilitating agreement between mediating parties.

- Understanding the levels of culture
- How your personal Cultural Map impacts your mediation work
- Using the research on the dimensions of national culture for mediation practice
- Cross-cultural communication issues
Your Presenter:
The course will be led by Tony Buon, a very experienced Civil, Commercial & Workplace Mediator. Tony is a Consultant Psychologist and best-selling author. Tony has trained over 3000 mediators since 1985. He has also taught at several Universities worldwide and regularly runs CBD for Mediators in the UK and beyond. tony@buon.net
