Carol Scott

A Housing Association Director for 25 years, Carol became interested in mediation as a means of resolving tenant, contractual and other disputes.  She trained as a mediator in 2003, becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and joining the panel of voluntary mediators at Edinburgh Sheriff Court the same year.  Carol has remained an active panel member and has been involved in over 40 mediations, either as lead or co-mediator.  She has also mediated in workplace and commercial disputes.  She was a founder member of both Catalyst Mediation and the Quartermile Group of mediators, both of which provide ongoing training and professional supervision.  She is also a member of Scottish Mediation Network and is on it’s register of mediators. 

Carol chairs Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust, is a qualified executive coach and Leadership Insight consultant and trainee supervisor as well as an accomplished artist and print maker.
