Catriona Davies is an experienced mediator with over 20 years of practice across the public and third sectors. She specialises in workplace, family, and additional support needs mediation, working with HR professionals, leadership teams, and organisations navigating complex or entrenched conflict — as well as with families and individuals facing some of the most difficult and emotionally charged situations in their lives.
In workplace settings, she is experienced in supporting situations where internal processes have reached their limits, including team breakdown, management relationship conflict, and disputes that have become entrenched over time. She works discreetly and professionally, tailoring her approach to the people and context in front of her rather than applying a fixed model.
For families, Catriona provides a calm, structured space to work through disputes — whether that involves separation and its impact on children, family relationship breakdown, or navigating the additional support needs system on behalf of a child. Her approach is non-judgmental and focused on helping families find practical, lasting solutions.
Alongside her mediation practice, Catriona offers practice supervision and consultancy for mediators and dispute resolution professionals. She sits on the Excellence Committee of Scottish Mediation and is the director of Resolution Mediation Scotland Ltd, Scotland’s largest private provider of additional support needs mediation, which also delivers workplace mediation, training, and coaching across Scotland.
