I am an independent, accredited mediator with Scottish Mediation, trained through, and a member of, the University of Strathclyde Mediation Clinic. I undertake mediations with flexible options to meet in-person, online or by telephone. This currently includes Scottish Sheriff Courts.

It is really important to find the right mediator for you, so here is a little information about my practice.

I have undertaken study with the University of Strathclyde Law School, (Mediation and Conflict Resolution, LLM) and have over 25 years of collaborative and inclusive practice within diverse education and creative industry sectors.

I am Chair of One Parent Families Scotland and have a longstanding commitment to the rights of children and young people. I hold dear, the value of helping people to help themselves through support to articulate and amplify their voice.

With public and third sector acumen, I have expertise in safeguarding research, policy, practice and governance supporting case management and review conducted across diverse operational areas (local, national and global) to deliver a safe, respectful culture within core business, grants and contracts across all physical and digital environments.

I ensure that equality and diversity are supported, professional standards are upheld and trauma-informed approaches underpin independent and impartial mediation practice, that is non-judgmental. I do not give legal advice. 

Each mediation is tailored to the individual case, supporting parties to speak in confidence to unpack their conflict, consider their wants and needs and find a practicable way forward.
