I’m a highly experienced Solicitor and Commercial Mediator, having specialised in dispute resolution for over 16 years. I’ve seen first hand the difficulties facing people in a dispute and the benefits that mediation can offer.

I’ve been accredited as a Mediator since 2012 and I’m regularly appointed in a wide range of disputes. I’m qualified as a Solicitor in Scotland as well as England & Wales and I’m dual accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Construction Law and a Specialist in Commercial Mediation.

I believe in delivering thorough, effective and affordable mediation.  I work with people in a clear, structured and confidential process, to give them the best chance of resolving their dispute or moving forwards as far as possible, in a way that works for them.

My mediation services have been described by clients as “excellent and worthwhile”, providing “invaluable input”. 

I’ve written and spoken extensively on key mediation issues, as well as training solicitors and clients on mediation principles and practice. I’m also a Member of the Excellence in Mediation Committee of Scottish Mediation; a Panel Mediator at the Edinburgh Sheriff Court Mediation Service; a former Trustee of Mediation charity Place for Hope; and a former Chair of Young Mediators.
