Kerry-Kirby

Kerry Kirby is a CEDR-accredited mediator and non-practising employment solicitor, and the founder of Wavelength Mediation.

With over 20 years’ experience advising businesses, employers and senior leaders, developed within leading City law firms, she brings a distinctive combination of legal expertise, commercial understanding and practical problem-solving to her mediation practice.

Kerry mediates workplace, employment and civil/commercial disputes, working with employers, employees, HR professionals, leadership teams, business owners and commercial parties across a wide range of sectors.

Recent experience includes:

• Mediating fractured working relationships involving allegations of bullying and high emotion within a competitive industry, resulting in an agreed action plan.
• Supporting an employer and employee to explore a way forward following lengthy grievance and disciplinary processes and long-term sickness absence.
• Successfully mediating a three-party employment dispute involving complex and sensitive discrimination claims scheduled for a lengthy Employment Tribunal hearing.

Kerry is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and Women in Property. Outside of her mediation practice, she volunteers as a career and interview coach for Smart Works Scotland.
