Laura Allison

Laura is a mediator with particular interests in workplace, employment and healthcare-related conflict. She completed her mediation training with the University of St Andrews.

Laura has practical mediation experience across a range of civil disputes, working impartially with parties to clarify the issues, explore different perspectives and identify mutually acceptable ways forward.

Alongside her mediation practice, Laura has extensive senior leadership experience within NHS Scotland, including organisational change, quality improvement, service development and supporting people and teams through complex and challenging situations. This gives her a strong understanding of both the organisational and human factors that can contribute to conflict.

Her approach is calm, practical and person-centred. She creates a constructive environment in which people can speak openly, better understand each other’s perspectives and explore realistic options for resolution.

Laura has a particular interest in workplace relationships, conflict between colleagues and teams, healthcare-related disputes, organisational change, civil and contractual disputes, and situations where maintaining or rebuilding an ongoing relationship is important.
