Workplace and Employment Initiative Group (WEIG) Meeting – March 2024

Our next WEIG meeting will be on Monday 4th March 2024, from 1400 – 1600, which will take place online via Zoom. This event is free of charge and for Scottish Mediation members only.

Discussions for the session:

1) Have you ever had your Agreement to Mediation referred to lawyers for checking and amending? If so, what was your experience of this? If not, what should you do? How? What terms may be contentious? – Introduced by Linn Phipps

2) What are the other situations in which we interact with lawyers – eg when they commission a mediation from us and when they are supporting or representing one or both of the mediation parties? What good practices and experiences of this can we share?
