Equality and Diversity Seminar – Progress to Date and Next Steps

Scottish Mediation has been working for a period on how it can best understand the equality and diversity issues that make an impact on mediation and how we can best respond.

During that period we have undertaken a journey with Hallmark of Inclusion which has led us to survey staff and the Board of SM to help identify key issues and areas of that we can progress.

In it’s most recent strategic plan we said we would work to ‘better reflect the diversity of the population we serve, and in doing so capture the diversity of thinking and practice that would bring.’

We’d like to invite you to a seminar where we’ll review the work that’s taken place highlighting the key findings and then discuss what objectives we’d like to take forward over the next year, what that work might look like and how people can get involved.

The seminar will be led by Amanda Heenan from Arc of Inclusion and Graham Boyack from Scottish Mediation.
